With
the new Joshua's Law taking effect January 1 2007
All new teen drivers are required to have at least 40 hours
of adult supervised on the road training.
Hi, my name is Harold Olinger. I've been a driving
instructor for the last five years. I've trained over a thousand
students in the state of Georgia under a reputable company. I
have taught Driver's Education, in which 30 hours is required for
teen drivers in the state of Georgia. In the classroom the students
were taught using the Drive Right text book which is a widely used
program. This book includes the IPDE process, Zone Control System
and the Smith System. I incorporate all of these concepts in my
teaching method when with a student. With the rising statistic of
teen driving fatalities and the new Joshua's Law taking
effect January 1 2007. I felt the need to start my own service to
help parents with teens obtain their hours of training and signing
off on their logs. With the new law in effect all new teen drivers
will be required to have at least 40 hours of adult supervised on
the road training. I also wanted to help adults that have little or
no experience or that is new to the Atlanta area and just want to
feel more confident in handling the busy roads of our city. I can
teach you powerful lasting skills needed for successfully taking the
driving test, including defensive driving techniques for the road
test and parking. It is my mission to create responsible, safe and
effective drivers.All
students under the age of 17 are required to have a valid driving
learners permit.

DRIVING CLINICS
One hour lessons are sometimes more
suitable for beginning students.
Clinics at churches will cover a lecture with parents and teens that
will discuss basic vehicle control, your driving task, and your
driving responsibilities. Each parent and teen would then
spend about thirty minutes in their own car with me instructing
them through the driving course that will be set up with the cones
in the parking lot. Parents will come away more informed on
the driving skills needed to practice until they feel their teen has
performed them several times both successfully and confidently.
I can also provide some video's for the group to watch if desired.
For this the charge will vary depending on time involved somewhere
between $50.00 to $75.00 per family. My goal is to teach you
the skills needed to become a responsible, low risk driver. Good
drivers never stop learning. The clinics can work at school's as
well.
I only ask that
parents don't interfere with my instructions.
